At GM Hospitals, We strive to provide you with a patient friendly staff and calm environment to speed up your recovery process. The Hospital staff will do everything to ensure that you and your attendant are comfortable throughout your stay with us.

  • Your in-patient co-ordinator will take you around the hospital and introduce you to the respective floor manager who will attend to you during your stay.
  • You will receive a complete list of items which you might have to carry with you and the ones which will be provided by the hospital.
  • Your co-ordinator will introduce you to the insurance desk, billing departments, housekeeping supervisor as well as the pharmacy to support you as and when needed.
  • Your co-ordinator will help you in selecting the rooms of your choice and guide you through the facilities within the room.
  • You and your attendant will be completely briefed with all safety norms and procedures followed at the hospital.
  • Your attendant’s comfort is equally important for the hospital and will not be compromised upon at any cost.
  • Your discharge date and time will be informed to you well in advance to give you adequate time to prepare for the same.
  • If you require Ambulance or Oxygen facilities you will be provided the same on consulting your In-patient co-ordinator.
  • You will also be informed about nearest available public facilities on your floor.

  • Should you require an accommodation for your attendant within close proximity to the hospital, you can get in touch with our representative at the Patient Care Desk. The Hospital has comfortable rooms at affordable prices for you to choose from.
  • Visitors wishing to see the patient should strictly adhere to visiting hours. Your in-patient co- ordinator will assist you with the timings followed.
  • A minimum deposit is required during admission. This will be recorded in your patient file and taken into account during the final billing. Our Patient care co-ordinator will assist you with the process followed.

  • Right to decline treatment.
  • Right to escalate complaints to the highest level and receive feedback on the resolution process.
  • Right to report any form of personal abuse or sexual harassment.

2. Responsibilities

  • To furnish clear, complete, accurate and correct information for proper diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and counselling purposes.
  • To strictly follow doctors instructions.
  • To keep the doctor informed with respect to after effects faced due to medications during treatment.
  • To take precautionary measures as advised by the doctor in case of infectious diseases.
  • To get a complete clarity of the cost of the treatment.
  • To get a complete clarity of the type of treatment.
  • To clear medical bills in time.
  • To treat doctors, nursing staff and other hospital staff
  • To take care and protect the hospital environment.
  • To handle any hospital equipment with care
  • To utilize the health system properly and do not abuse/monopolize it.
  • To follow the “NO SMOKING POLICY” of hospital.
  • To be aware of hospital procedures to evacuate the hospital during any natural emergency.
  • To honour hospital code of conduct.

Out Patient Department (OPD) Appointment

Our efficient OPD staff at GM Hospitals in Bangalore will help you in booking an appointment with your concerned doctor. You can either book your appointment online or just walk in to the hospital. The OPD staff will assist and guide you through the process. A copy of the same is also sent to you on your email id. In case you want to re-schedule your appointment to another date convenient to you or the hospital requests you to do so due to the non-availability of your doctor, our representative will assist you with alternate solutions.

Your time is extremely precious to us. GM Hospitals will do everything to minimize your waiting time and see through your doctor consultation as quickly as possible. For physically challenged patients, you can request for assistance while booking your appointment itself. Your comfort is of paramount importance for us.

In patient Admission and Discharge

After consultation, if your doctor recommends an admission to the hospital, you can get in touch with our In Patient help desk. Our patient care co-ordinators will be very happy to help you in selecting your choice of rooms/wards suiting your comfort. On the day of your admission, our staff will accompany you to your ward/room after completing the due in patient registration formalities. Your designated floor manager will visit you to find out your comfort every day and assist you if you need any extra comfort. If you are accompanied by your attendant, his/her comfort will also not be compromised upon at any cost.

Discharge

Once your doctor advises the inpatient staff on your discharge, your co-ordinator will start preparing your discharge summary. After the necessary clearances and approval from your doctor, you will be discharged from the hospital. If you require ambulance services, our co- ordinators will be very happy to assist you with the same. Physically challenged patients are supported by personal patient care co-ordinators to ensure their safety and comfort.

Billing

At GM Hospitals in Bangalore, you get much more than what you expect. A well-organized Billing Department is all set to support your smooth discharge from the hospital. Depending upon the number of days of hospitalization required even before your admission, our billing department after consulting your doctor, will give a rough estimate to you.

Payments are accepted in Cash, through Card (Credit/Debit) and Demand Drafts.

Insurance

GM Hospitals, Bangalore is committed to ensure a smooth Insurance Claim process. You are requested to kindly furnish all details with respect to your medical insurance to our representative at the Insurance Help desk. Any medical expense which is not supported by insurance companies will be informed to you well in advance. It totally depends on your insurance company as to how much percentage of claims you are entitled to. Any further enhancements to your insurance claim will be sent to your Insurance Company for approval. The Hospital has no role to play in case your insurance approval or claims are delayed,
