Dr. SS Ramesh completed MBBS from University of Mysore, MD – General Medicine from University Of Mysore, India and DM – Cardiology from University Of Bombay. He has been a Consultant Cardiologist practicing in Bangalore since 1982.
“He was the first Cardiologist in Karnataka to do a Coronary Angiogram (1983) and the first to do a Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) (1989)
He has been instrumental in establishing the Bangalore Chapter of Cardiological Society of India (1983) and is credited with the founding of four Cardiology departments in Bangalore viz. The Depts. at St. John’s Medical College, PDH Sindhi Hospital, Yellamma Dasappa Hospital and at the Mallya Hospital.”
